Stink Bugs

“Four shield‑shaped stink bug silhouettes shown in varied sizes.”

Stink bugs are shield‑shaped insects that feed on fruits and vegetables outdoors and crawl indoors to overwinter, releasing a foul odor when crushed. They sneak through gaps around siding, attic vents and window frames in late summer and early fall. Vacuuming (and emptying the bag outside) is the simplest removal method inside, while exterior perimeter sprays and sealing entry points keep numbers down. Because they congregate in sunny spots, reducing outdoor lighting near doors also lowers attraction.
